Cancellation & Return Policy

At Voltio Bikes, we are committed to providing high-quality electric bikes and excellent customer service. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review the terms below regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.


Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order prior to dispatch by contacting us at support@voltiobikes.ie.

  • If the order has not yet shipped, we will process a full refund.

  • If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to the return policy below.


Change of Mind Returns

In accordance with Irish and EU consumer law, you are entitled to return an unused product within 14 days of receiving it.

To qualify for a return:

  • The product must be unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging.

  • A return request must be submitted in writing within 14 calendar days of delivery.

Once your return is approved:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days.

  • The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • A full refund will be issued once the product is received and inspected, minus any additional delivery charges originally paid.

Please note: Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage are not eligible for return or refund.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty or damaged:

  • Assembled, used, or ridden e-bikes

  • Opened safety gear (e.g., helmets, locks, gloves)

  • Custom-built or special-order bikes or accessories


Damaged or Faulty Products

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@voltiobikes.ie.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Supporting photos or videos

We will arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund in line with your statutory rights.


Refunds

Once a returned item has been received and inspected:

  • You will be notified by email

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days

Refunds apply only to the product price and standard delivery. Any upgraded delivery charges are non-refundable.


Cycle to Work Scheme Purchases

If your purchase was made via the Cycle to Work Scheme, please note:

  • Refunds can only be processed through your employer

  • Products purchased under this scheme are non-refundable directly to the employee


How to Start a Return

To begin the return process, please email us at support@voltiobikes.ie with the following information:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

Do not return any products without prior written confirmation from our team. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted or refunded.
